Pelifarmi

Are you a 17–29-year-old young person in Oulu? Are you interested in the video game industry? Do you have a passion for creating video games or do you have experience in coding, graphic design or some other part of making games, such as game design or sound production?

Pelifarmi activities includes two different operational models in which you can participate.

Pelifarmi – Game Development Coaching Program

The Pelifarmi – Game Development Coaching Program is directed to 17–29-year-old young people living in Oulu who are interested in game development generally and its different sectors, such as coding, graphic design and audio production. The coaching program lasts for four months and is organized twice a year, primarily as a work trial. During the Pelifarmi, you will receive an extensive understanding of game development, project work and teamwork in a video game project.

Pelifarmi Lounge Activities

Pelifarmi Lounge activities are meant for 17–29-year-old young people living in Oulu who are interested in independent game development and developing their personal professional skills in the video game industry. The activities are voluntary. The goal of the activities is to offer young people the space, equipment and programs needed for individual game development and reinforcing personal game development skills. The use of the space and working there are determined by the young person’s own needs.

Facilities are available for booking from 7.1.2025 to 13.2.2025, Tue-Fri from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
