Service Advisor – low‑threshold support without an appointment

Mira is the person a young adult meets when visiting Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre without an appointment. She works in walk‑in customer service, answers the Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre phone line, responds to contact requests and forwards them to the appropriate professionals. You can come to Mira with any matter – big or small. She always begins by listening, assessing the overall situation and guiding the customer to the services that best meet their needs. In addition, Mira’s work includes many other tasks such as booking appointments, sending appointment reminders, updating social media, maintaining content on the Nuorten Oulu website, compiling statistics, managing keys, attending meetings and participating in various working groups.

Lobby Workers Wilma and Milena – professionals of first impressions on two floors

Wilma and Milena are responsible for welcoming customers and visitors both in the Oulu10 ground‑floor lobby and in the third‑floor customer lobby of Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre. In the ground‑floor lobby, the lobby worker is the first person a customer meets when arriving a Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre. They guide visitors to the correct location and open the glass door leading to the staircase and elevators, which take customers to the third floor. On the third floor, the lobby worker welcomes customers to the Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre customer lobby and ensures that everyone finds the right service and the right professional. They also assist with practical matters such as printing, scanning, copying, using the third‑floor computers, managing Info TV content, updating the Nuorten Oulu website, writing the weekly morning meeting memo, maintaining the comfort of the lobby areas and taking care of the customer coffee table.

Office Assistant – the behind‑the‑scenes everyday lifesaver

Marika takes care of the many daily tasks that keep Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre running smoothly and ensure efficient customer service. Her responsibilities include handling internal and external mail, receiving newspapers, letters and packages, ordering supplies and food items, arranging refreshments for meetings and events, managing loanable items, maintaining the office supply inventory, ensuring the overall comfort of the premises and substituting for lobby workers during lunch breaks or absences. At the end of the day, the office assistant ensures that the facilities are left clean and safe: devices are turned off, the kitchen is checked and lights are switched off. The office assistant may be “invisible” to customers but is an indispensable behind‑the‑scenes force that keeps Byströmin Ohjaamo running smoothly.
