Midsummer is a moment when the light does not fade, not even at night. The northern sky glows through the night, and in Oulu, summer feels closest to its true self. The rhythm of the whole city slows down as many head to cottages, festivals, or spend Midsummer at home or at work. For many, Midsummer is also a pause — a chance to breathe, meet friends, and enjoy the bright nights that seem to go on forever.

The staff of Byström One-Stop Guidance Centre  will also be celebrating Midsummer, and our opening hours will change during the week:

  • Mon–Wed 9:00–16:00
  • Thu 18 June 9:00–14:00
  • Fri 19 June closed
