MAJP is a youth participation and influence group operating in the Tuira, Puolivälinkangas, Pyykösjärvi, Välivainio and Alppila areas. You can join the participation group if you live or go to school in these areas. In the group, you represent the schools and youth facilities in the area.

In a participation group, you can influence the affairs of your local area and the city, for example by taking a stand on various plans, taking initiatives and organizing activities and events.

Regional participation groups bring the most important issues in their area to the annual children and youth city meeting, where young people decide on the advancement of issues important to them in the city’s decision-making.
